Lephone W2 Launched With Support for 4G VoLTE, 22 Regional Languages


One of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company Lephone on the last Tuesday launched its budget W2 smartphone with support for 4G VoLTE support in India at the cost of Rs. 3,999. The Lephone W2 has already been made available for purchase exclusively at all the offline retail outlets in the country and comes in three color options of Black, Golden, Rose Gold, and White + Gold.

The dual-SIM Lephone W2 runs the company's 360 Operating System which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered and supported by an unspecified quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz and is also coupled with the RAM of 1GB. In terms of optics department, the W2 comes with a 2-megapixel primary rear camera and a VGA camera at the front of the smartphone.

The new smartphone from Lephone comes with 8GB of inbuilt onboard storage, which can be extended further via micro SD card of up to 32GB. The connectivity option offered by W2 includes the 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio.

This smartphone model offers not just a wide variety of emojis and symbols to enhance the communication of text, but also with other 22 Indian regional languages which merely includes the Hindi, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Nepali, Bodo, Telugu, Urdu, Sindhi, Odia, Sanskrit, Kashmiri, Dogri, Maithili, Santhali, Konkani, and Manipuri.
