Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are a universal favourite and can be made in a jiffy whenever an unexpected guest turns up at your place. You need to have chicken wings in your freezer and apart from that the other ingredients can be easily found in your kitchen. Mix fish sauce, garlic cloves and pepper powder in a large bowl and dip the chicken wings in it. The bowl can be kept aside for 30 minutes and then the chicken wings can be fried till they are golden brown. Decorate the delicious chicken wings with coriander and green chili and serve hot.

Potato Chickpea Chaat

Aloo Chana or Potato Chickpea Chaat can be prepared in just 10 minutes and is tasty as well as healthy. You need to quickly chop up some potatoes, tomatoes and onions along with a few green chillies. Soak the chana for some time and then cook them in pressure cooker until they are fully boiled. Sauté the tomatoes, green chili, onion and ginger garlic paste for a couple of minutes. Add in the boiled Chana and salt along with a pinch of chaat masala before mixing all the contents and transferring in a serving bowl. Crushed coriander leaves, peanuts go on top and a delicious snack is ready.

Grilled Platter

You must be having left over curry or pulao in the fridge at any point of time. These can be fitted inside capsicum, tomato and onion shells to make delicious snacks. The inner seeds and pulp of onion, tomato and capsicum can be scooped out and the sabzi can be stuffed inside. Cheese crumbs and bread crumbs go on top and the cases can be grilled for 15 minutes. Serve piping hot with tomato chili sauce and onion rings.

Masala Omelette hardly takes 15 minutes of preparation time and the result is invariable delicious. The ingredients are simple and are all easily available at home. You will need eggs, chopped onions, chopped coriander, chopped green chili, red chilli paste, turmeric powder and tiny diced vegetables (carrot, mushroom, tomato, capsicum etc.). the eggs need to be beaten to a smooth consistency and the ingredients have to be added in it. The mixture is evenly spread in a skillet and cooked to perfection. Serve piping hot masala omelette with tomato ketchup and impress your guests.

You will need 2 spoons of coconut oil, sugar, salt, golden syrup, water, baking powder and some sea salt apart from a packet of unpopped popcorn. You need to heat the coconut oil in a pan and add popcorn kernels in it till all the kernels have popped. The popped popcorn is transferred to a big bowl and water, sugar and golden syrup is drizzled on top. Heat the popcorn till the sugar caramelises and then cool it before serving.
