1. Lotus Lantern International Meditation Center

Lotus Lantern International Meditation Center is led by Korean and foreign monks and it is present on a quiescent island which is just outside the Seoul. And is this does not sound attractive to you then let me just tell you that the monks and laypeople put massive stress on independent cultivation. They are very much keen to pass on their values and the skills related to meditation to those people who are interested. 2. Bongeun-sa

If you want to go to a quiet place then you don’t need to go out of Seoul. Bongeunsa is located in Gangnam and was found in 1794. It is located right across the busy COEX Mall and exhibition Center. You are going to find the most popular temple stay programs in the country at this place. You can stay here for few hours or for couple of days depending upon your suitability and requirement. The most interesting thing about this place is that it has a great selection of vegan and vegetarian restaurant.

3. Jogye-sa

Jogya-sa is the headquarters of the Korea Buddhist Jogye Order. It is one of the very important temples in Seoul as well as the largest one. Not only the localities but also the visitors and tourists come here to learn about the religion Buddhism as well as practice Seon meditation. Not only this, there are many other templestay programs such as traditional tea ceremonies, monastic diet, traditional scripture printing and lantern marking. It is located in Insadong and the greatest thing about Jogye-sa is that one can enjoy the templestay programs throughout the year.
